Get to Know Nick Dubois

What's your role at H5 Data Centers?

I am the site manager for H5's downtown Seattle Edge Data Center, the property manager, and lead facility engineer for the 1000 Denny Way building. As the data center manager in Seattle, I take care of all aspects of the datacenter and 300,000 square feet property.

What do you enjoy most about working with H5?

I really enjoy working with my technical counterparts and management, the sales team, and the prospects that I meet during our data center tours.

Do you have any unique experiences prior to working in the data center field?

I started out I the mid 90's traveling from city to city installing cell switches for Ericsson. From 1997-2007, I was the Lead Operations Engineer for Verizon's downtown Seattle network in charge of all power and fiber transport builds as well as circuit activation for government markets and large business accounts. From 2007-2018, I was the lead facility engineer for the (3) downtown Seattle Equinix facilities where I was in charge of the power and mechanical systems.

If you could star in any sci-fi movie, which one would it be and why?

The iron man films. Tony Stark= Billionaire genius playboy with your own flying suit. Too cool.

Your prediction for this year's Super Bowl?

The LA Rams vs The Kansas City Chiefs.
