Get to Know Eli Crevelone

What's your role at H5 Data Centers?

My role at H5 is Sales Director covering the Southwest Territory of the U.S. I am the main point of contact for our Phoenix and Albuquerque data centers, and lead business development efforts in each market..

What do you enjoy most about working with H5?

The thing I enjoy the most about working at H5 is the team I get to work with. We are known throughout the industry as a fun crew, and we absolutely live up to the expectation. It speaks volumes that in my two and a half years with H5, there has been no turnover on our sales team.

Do you have any unique experiences before working in the data center field?

Back in 2021, I completely pivoted career fields. Prior to H5, my entire career was spent in the sports industry. I went from coaching a college basketball team in grad school, to working in sales at the Formula One racetrack in Austin, to selling sponsorships in a college athletic department at University of Arizona. While I have built relationships and memories that will last a lifetime, it could not be more of a blessing in disguise that I ended up where I am. One consistency I have found is that no matter the industry, being genuine and building authentic relationships will always lead to success. Recently, I have been asked to join the AFCOM Phoenix Chapter Board of Directors. With less than three years of data center experience under my belt, I can attest this to serving others, and building rock solid relationships.

Where is your next vacation or where would you like to travel?

I recently got married at the end of September. My wife and I like to go back and forth between ‘travel’ and ‘vacation’. Since we just sat on a beach for a week after our wedding, the next trip we plan will be a bit more of an adventure throughout Europe. Greece, Spain, Italy, Ireland… it’s hard to pick exactly where. I just hope that even once we have kids, we are able to experience a lifetime of seeing the world. Also, anyone with suggestions feel free to send them our way!

What is one subject you can talk about for hours?

Any conversation regarding golf or food, I’m in.
